Today I got a used settee and two matching chairs for one low, low price! I mean, seriously low.
I'm really stoked about this! They're solid teak in a dark finish, with ivory cushions. They look very island-appropriate - in fact, the apartment has off-white walls but dark brown trim, so they'll be just *perfect!* And the owner let me leave them at his house until Friday (yes, I got a receipt). So, as soon as we get inside, we'll have something to sit down on.

I approve of sitting! I also think it's pretty hilarious how exciting it can be to furnish an apartment. If you don't let finding the good deals get you down, it can be pretty rewarding.
