It's spreading - here in Tumon, which is the hotel strip and high-end shopping destination of Guam, the water will be shut off starting in, hmm, half an hour. I filled up both bathtubs in case it never comes back...
I had a theory that they'd let the rest of the island go dry before inconveniencing the tourists, but I guess I was wrong! They say the water will be back on this afternoon, but I'll believe it only after I see it.
In other news, we didn't quite connect with the realtor last night, so things are not yet finalized for taking possession of our apartment. After I talk to her, hopefully soon this morning, I should be free to go to the power authority and the water authority (two separate authorities) to have our utilities turned on.
Though perhaps I might as well not bother with the water authority...!
You'll have to learn to clean your dishes and clothes with sand.
