...for those who are interested.
I'm getting my police and court clearances together to submit to the AG's office, who will send them to the Department of Administration, which will come back with some kind of approval, which will allow the AG's office to request authorization for a drug test. Then I'll take the drug test, then it will be processed... and then, with luck, I will get to start work. Maybe in two weeks or so - maybe longer, since this all depends on the speed of bureaucracy. At any rate, it looks like this is really happening.
I'll be working in the prosecution division, I think - again, nothing is 100% certain. I will probably be doing misdemeanors there. It will be a great way to learn! I should get courtroom experience and everything! According to the person who interviewed me, it could mean going to court several times per week. Rumor has it that the office is a bit crazy, and it might turn out to be a pretty stressful job...
but work is work, and I'm so grateful and excited to start!

Excellent news! We here at the Barrett-Yoon compound are excited about the news. You ask me what is good?
ReplyDelete"To see a reprobate plead guilty, to see the perp driven beneath your feet, and to hear the lamentations of the women."
Lamentations, forsooth!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear more about your experience in prosecution, though - I'll send you an email.
Now only one thing left to think about: to peep toe, or not to peep-toe
ReplyDelete:P
Believe me, I have been thinking of little else :D
