Today I (Brooke) had a chat on the phone with my folks and the subject of cell phones came up - I was feeling complacent because I had found a local Guam cell phone plan that included phone calls to the US mainland with "no long distance charge."
"Well, you won't really know until you get your phone bill," my mom warned.
Well, she was right. I just got the phone bill and I have been charged for calls to the mainland. Not big charges, nothing problematic -- but ANY charge, when you're supposed to have NO charge, is pretty outrageous. I think this means I have to go down to the mall, to the phone store kiosk, with the bill and the plan contract, and demand an explanation.
Which is not a problem, but it's not how things are supposed to work, either. It's a disappointment!
Way to be a person who complains! I still haven't mastered that!
