Right now there are three active typhoons in the Pacific: Kompasu, Lionrock, and Namethun. They're all west of Guam, so we don't have to worry - they move from east to west - but Kompasu did visit Guam before it was even a tropical depression, bringing a lot of wind and rain and strange wind patterns last week. It looks like they're all converging
I've found that this website - http://www.hurricanezone.net/westpacific/advisories.html - is really useful for keeping track of what is going on in the Pacific.
I know that Guam will get hit sooner or later, but I will be grateful if it doesn't happen until after our house-sitting stint has finished, next week. I'd rather not have that responsibility!
My fingers are crossed for you and for the safety of whatever building you are in at all times!
