Tonight is a softball game! It started, hm, 9 minutes ago as I type. Nick is there, but I am not: no softball for me until the bar exam is over! (Tho I'm on call, in case they run out of girls...).
Will the team win tonight? We got our team uniforms today - they are very attractive! Let's hope they bring victory!
UPDATE: Well, it wasn't a victory after all: the score was 14-0 and they invoked the mercy rule after the 4th inning. But at least the uniforms looked good! Nick played center-right field (we play with 4 outfielders) and he walked at his only at-bat. So he didn't make any mistakes, and it sounds like he was fielding well! It sounds like we had a pretty strong lineup altogether. But apparently the opponents last night were the best team on the league... At least that's what someone told Nick last night.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you would have distracted the bad guys in your snappy uniform and your long ponytail... unless you got too tired from the cheerleaders calling you up the night before.
