One really great thing about Guam is that people are so open and friendly - and this applies to people with important jobs. This morning I went into the law library to see what bar study materials they had available, and I had a chance to meet the Guam Compiler of Laws; he invited me into his office and I was able to ask him some questions about the bar exam.
When I applied to the Guam Public Defender's division, the Public Defender himself talked to me in his office. We saw the Attorney General (now US Attorney) standing in line at an AG fundraiser; and when Nick was sworn into the bar, he had a private ceremony with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. These people have incredibly important jobs to do with very limited resources, but to a person, everyone is gracious and welcoming. It's wonderful!
