Happy Easter

Happy Easter from Guam, where America's Easter begins. We celebrated the holiday and our four week anniversary by signing up for scuba lessons. Classes start in two weeks. We also got some snorkeling equipment -- snorkels, masks, flippers, and reef shoes. The reef shoes are booties for wearing in the water, and they are important because there is a lot of slimy stuff on the sea floor. We'll be going for a swim and snorkel in Tumon Bay this afternoon.

Yesterday we went to Jeff's Pirates Cove, a restaurant and bar on the other side of the island. We ate cheeseburgers outside with nothing but a volleyball court between us and the Pacific. The water was shallow enough that if we had our reef shoes, we could have walked out to the sandbar.

After lunch, we went to a car show. Including the Trans Am featured above, there were about 30 cars on display. We're pretty sure the Plymouth Superbird is a tribute car (not the real thing, but a different car made to look like one), but it was still fun to see.

That is whay my family needs! Help me convince Sunny that Superbirds are extremely safe and reliable cars.

I just got my 1/18th scale 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner die cast car on Saturday. Complete with Roadrunner decals. Sweet!

  2. Those are so cool! Maybe re-creating a tribute car (like the one in the pic) wouldn't be too hard... And they ARE safe - safe like a tank!
