Last night the Land Cruiser stole its own front driver's side power window. Just, ate it right up and wouldn't give it back!
So today, armed with my trusty leatherman tool, I went out to beat it into submission. I pulled off the door panel and reached my tender paws into the murky depths, wrestled with the metal and glass for a while - and returned triumphant. The window is back!
Of course, it will never go down again - the mechanism that holds the window in place is broken, so I had to jury-rig it to stay up - but I think this counts as a victory.

That's the nice thing about a big ol'beast like that with no dealer. We had to take Fiver in to have someone else look.
